Chanukah Video Competition: The Seniors Weigh In

The Chanukah videos keep coming. Here's the third in our series. By the time we're through, we may have a dozen or more to consider for the Jewish Humor Central Chanukah Video Championship Contest.

Today's entry demonstrates that you don't have to be a schoolboy, a teenager, or a college student to participate in a funny video about Chanukah. This video stars a collection of seniors at the Los Angeles Jewish Home, all joining in to create a collective version of the song Chanukah, Oh Chanukah. The singing is punctuated by reflections on how to spell the name of the holiday, the correct way to make latkes, what to put on them, and the joys and pleasures of Chanukah.

Our favorite line: "Sevivon?  Now we're French?" Listen for it. Enjoy!

(A SPECIAL NOTE FOR NEW EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS:  THE VIDEO MAY NOT BE VIEWABLE DIRECTLY FROM THE EMAIL THAT YOU GET EACH DAY ON SOME COMPUTERS AND TABLETS.  YOU MUST CLICK ON THE TITLE AT THE TOP OF THE EMAIL TO REACH THE JEWISH HUMOR CENTRAL WEBSITE, FROM WHICH YOU CLICK ON THE PLAY BUTTON IN THE VIDEO IMAGE TO START THE VIDEO.)

(A tip of the kippah to Esther Kustanowitz for bringing this video to our attention.)
