Here Come the Hanukkah Videos: Aish Weighs in With Eight Pop Parodies

One sure way to know that Chanukah is coming is the proliferation of music videos, usually adapting popular songs to reflect Chanukah themes. We plan to post all of the major entries and at the end of the holiday we'll ask you to vote for which one you like best.

Earlier this week we brought you the first video of the season with the Yeshiva Boys Choir in a lavish production number. Today's entry is by Aish.com, the website of Aish HaTorah, which claims to be the world's largest Jewish content website.

In the video, called Hanukkah: Rock of Ages, the Chanukah story is told through a medley of eight parodies of hit songs. See if you can recognize all of them.  Enjoy!

(A SPECIAL NOTE FOR NEW EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS:  THE VIDEO MAY NOT BE VIEWABLE DIRECTLY FROM THE EMAIL THAT YOU GET EACH DAY ON SOME COMPUTERS AND TABLETS.  YOU MUST CLICK ON THE TITLE AT THE TOP OF THE EMAIL TO REACH THE JEWISH HUMOR CENTRAL WEBSITE, FROM WHICH YOU CLICK ON THE PLAY BUTTON IN THE VIDEO IMAGE TO START THE VIDEO.)
