A Joke to Start the Week: "A Chicken for the Judge"


It's the first Monday in June, and it's time for another joke to start the week. Once again, we're sharing another joke from the Old Jews Telling Jokes collection, this one told by lawyer Richard Cohen about a courtroom dispute between a chicken farmer and a butcher.

Here's the setup: Schwartz had a chicken farm and he had a long-time customer, Gottesman's Kosher Butchers. Gottesman had been in business for years and years and they always did good business together, but Schwartz noticed that Gottesman was getting slow on his payments. And then...
