What Will the Jewish Future Look Like? Lookin' Good, If These Kids Get Their Way

What will the Jewish future look like?

The Los Angeles Jewish Federation asked children from Temple Judea (Reform) in Tarzana, California and Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am (Conservative)  in Los Angeles what they thought the Jewish future should be like and how they saw themselves living in it.

Their responses are thoughtful, personal, and cute. If their hopes and expectations of living a Jewish life come to pass, the Jewish community of the future should be in very good shape.

The LA Federation, which sponsored this video, ensures the Jewish future by funding scholarships to attend Jewish summer camps, tuition assistance for Jewish education, programs like Birthright Israel – and so much more in California, in Israel and around the world.

The result? Smart, adorable kids like the ones in this video – kids who understand and appreciate being Jewish and who will be leaders of the Jewish community when they grow up.

May their numbers increase.

Shabbat Shalom!

(A tip of the kipppah to Esther Kustanowitz for bringing this video to our attention.)
