Ruth Kaye Portrays Broadway's Fabulous Musical Females

Ruth Kaye’s three one-woman shows, “My Grandmother, My Mother and Me”, “Broadway’s Fabulous Females”, and “We’re Still Here” have been seen by more than 500,000 people with performances in 28 states in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

A native of New Jersey and a member of Actor’s Equity, Ruth’s love of musical theater led her to leading roles in more than 50 musicals. Among them was the role of Agnes in three productions of I Do! I Do!”, one directed by Robert Morse. Ruth was featured in “Fiddler on the Roof” at New Jersey’s famed Paper Mill Playhouse, and portrayed Golde on tour opposite Shelley Berman. The versatile Miss Kaye also played all the women in “Stop The World, I Want To Get Off” Opposite T.V.’s Robert Hegyes (Epstein on “Welcome Back Kotter”).

She has toured nationally as both Mame and Vera in two different productions of “Mame” and as the only woman in the Noel Coward revue “Oh Coward!”, directed by David Rubenstein. Other favorite roles include Aldonza in “Man of LaMancha”, Adelaide in “Guys and Dolls”, Cleo in “The Most Happy Fella” and Lucy in “The Threepenny Opera”.

Ruth tours South Florida annually in January, February and March where she has been the headliner in numerous club appearances, including all four Century Villages, The Ritz Carlton in Manalapan, and the Biltmore in Coral Gables. Other club dates include Club Euro in Provincetown, Cape Cod and the Starlight Theater in Las Vegas. Two of her most exciting experiences were performing for the troops in Israel, and singing on the Russian ship, the Lev Tolstoi.

Audiences of all ages have enjoyed Ruth’s act at organizational special events, temples, churches, retirement communities, art centers, conventions, and private parties. Here's your chance to get a look at her performing in Broadway's Fabulous Musical Females. Enjoy!
