Comedy Special: Cathy Ladman on Growing Older on The Tonight Show

Cathy Ladman is a 67-year-old American stand-up comedian, television writer, and actress. She was featured in her own installment of HBO's One Night Stand comedy series, and has been a guest on The Tonight Show on nine occasions.

We've featured her stand-up comedy five times previously, and now we found a new video clip of her commentary on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In this clip she talks about getting older, going shopping at Costco with her teenage daughter and the Erie Canal song she learned in the third grade.

Actress Zoey Deutch Quizzes Jimmy Fallon on His Yiddish Vocabulary

Last week actress Zoey Deutch appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show and quizzed him on his Yiddish vocabulary. Tossing out the words Mishpacha, Shayna Punim, Shmegegge, Shmendrik, and Shmo, She asked Fallon to guess their correct translations.

Deutch's big screen breakthrough came in the supporting role of Emily Asher, alongside Emma Thompson, Thomas Mann and Alden Ehrenreich in the 2013 fantasy-romance-drama Beautiful Creatures based on a well-known young adult novel of the same name written by authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and the first book in the Caster Chronicles series. Deutch also appeared on NCIS, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, ABC Family's Switched at Birth and in Marc Cherry's television pilot Hallelujah.

Jerry Seinfeld and Jimmy Fallon in Best Comedian Stand-Up Battle

Last November on an episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, comedian Jerry Seinfeld and host Fallon engaged in a stand-up comedy battle, each one taking a turn at telling a short Seinfeld stand-up routine to see which of the two was the better Seinfeld.

The joke topics included ''Wait Up", "Star Wars", "Pizza Hut", "Rubber Dividers", and "Birthday Clown."

A long-term devotee of Jewish humor, Al Kustanowitz has been collecting and sharing it even before there was an internet. In 2009, after a 36-year career at IBM managing new technology projects, he founded Jewish Humor Central (jewishhumorcentral.com. Through the blog he brings a daily dose of fun and positive energy to readers who would otherwise start the day reading news that is often drab, dreary, and depressing (subscribing is free). He has published 12 books on humor based on his more than 4,000 blog postings, each of which includes a video clip and his commentary.
