Last year, Jamie Geller, the "kosher Rachael Ray" moved from New York to Israel with her husband Nachum and five children. Now the kosher cookbook author and host of The Joy of Kosher website has started a new food and travel series on the web, called The Joy of Israel.

The premiere episode, shown below, takes new olim Jamie and her family to the snow covered Mount Hermon in the North of Israel followed by a stop to ride horses and cook dinner with real Israeli Cowboys at Kibbutz Merom Golan. Before riding the trails of the Golan Heights, Jamie and Ari, the general manager of the restaurant make Poyke, a traditional Israeli cowboy chulent or stew and put it on an open fire for a few hours.

This series showcases the beauty of Israel in reality TV format with the mission of educating, exciting and connecting people to Israel. This new series will show how exciting, inspiring, and beautiful living in Israel can be.
