When she's not doing standup comedy, Miriam Borenstein is a teacher of Judaic studies. But when she's doing standup comedy, she can be very funny.Miriam hails from Colombia, and as she says "not from Columbia University." That combination gives her a good story line and a platform for entertaining audiences with accounts of her experiences in teaching and dating.
She was second place winner in the New York Jewish Week's Funniest Jewish Comedian contest in 2014.
