A Joke to Start the Week - "Long Island Railroad"


It's Monday again, and time for another Joke to Start the Week. This one is told by retired loose-leaf binder manufacturer Jonathon Goldman, a regular contributor to the Old Jews Telling Jokes collection.

Here's the setup: I had a lovely grandmother who used to occasionally ride the Long Island Railroad. Well, she had to go in to meet her sister on a Saturday. She didn't have a ticket, but as she said, she joined the Knights of Pythias. And those Pythias sisters were so wonderful -- they gave her a weekly ticket that somebody else had used during the week. And then...
