Throwback Thursday Comedy Special - Gertrude Berg in "How to Be a Jewish Mother" on The Ed Sullivan Show

Today we're turning the clock back 55 years to September 1965, when Gertrude Berg made an appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

In that segment, Berg (using her Molly Goldberg persona) gave Sullivan a tutorial on "How to be a Jewish Monther" - the techniques of basic suffering and making basic sacrifices.

Examples include:

- How to behave when you discover your daughter necking in the living room
- How to entertain people who come to your home for dinner
- How to tell a funny story

Enjoy!
