World Comedy Showcase: Meet Australian Robert Weil, aka Rabbi Mordy Katz

It's been a few years since we posted a stand-up comedy routine by Australian businessman Robert Weil, also known as Rabbi Mordy Katz. We came across another video clip of one of his performances and wanted to share it with you.

For our readers living on the East Coast of the USA, laughing with Rabbi Katz is a great way to get through the big snowstorm that's forecast for today.

Weil, alias Rabbi Katz, comes across as a credible rabbi as he starts out introducing himself as the chief rabbi of New York, then the chief rabbi of Brooklyn, gradually narrowing his domain until it's a small shul on one block in Boro Park.

In this video, Weil/Katz jokes about airlines, movies, married life, and mothers-in-law.

Enjoy, and Shabbat shalom!

  2. "Rabbi Katz" sure gets around! I saw him give a "drasha" at a wedding in Israel! What a (talmud) chacham!
