GI JEWS: Jewish Americans in World War II, a feature-length documentary
for broadcast on national public television, will tell the profound and
unique story of Jewish Americans in World War II.
These are the men and women who
fought for their nation and their people, struggled privately with
anti-Semitism, and emerged transformed, more powerfully American and
more deeply Jewish.
The film will include interviews with Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, 104-year-old Bea Cohen and former Manhattan DA Robert M. Morgenthau.
We'll keep an eye out for the completion date of the film and let you know about its availability.

Looks like a really good documentary. BTW, around the 4:25 mark, Max Fuchs talks about the first Jewish radio broadcast from Germany. Mr. Fuchs was my Cantor in the Bayside Jewish Center back in the early 1960's.
