A Joke to Start the Week - "Praying in Jerusalem"


It's the first Monday in May and we're on another one of our Israel trips. This is a special one because we're here to celebrate a grandson's Bar Mitzvah. The family is gathering here for the big simcha but that's not preventing us from posting a joke to start the week. 

We're very glad that one of our favorite jokesters, retired business woman and sculptor Joyce Fama, sent us a very timely joke about praying in Jerusalem that we're sharing with you today.

Here's the setup: An American journalist has an assignment in Jerusalem. He's living in a hotel with a window that's looks over the Western Wall. And he notices an older man there three times a day praying vigorously and he thinks that this might be a story. And then...
