Throwback Thursday: Alan King on the Joys of Air Travel

It's another Throwback Thursday. Time to travel back in time to 1974 for a classic performance by Alan King appearing as a guest on The Carol Burnett Show.

Holding his usual cigar as a prop, King reflects on the indignities of air travel, the food, and especially the way luggage was handled (or not handled.)

Enjoy!

  1. "This video contains content from WMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds"
Aside from the incorrect use of "who" for a "thing" (WMG)I found nothing funny in the video I was unable to view. My country is USA and my computer is set for USA.
    Just FYI

    1. Today we tried to post a video clip of Alan King on the Carol Burnett Show. This week we're posting from our Jerusalem office and got emails from some of you that the clip was blocked from being seen in the USA. It worked just fine from Israel, so we assumed that it could be seen everywhere else.

So instead we're substituting another Throwback Thursday video clip -- a compilation of Don Rickles' funniest moments. In this clip, Don takes no prisoners -- included in his list of victims are President Reagan, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Julia Roberts, Dean Martin, Johnny Carson, and many, many more.

      Enjoy!
