More Unexpected Traces in Jewish Places: The Gat Brothers Sing The Eagles' Hotel California

Aryeh and Gil Gat, known as The Gat Brothers and The Breslov Brothers and to some, The Amazing Rabbis, made a big hit on the Israeli TV talent show Rising Star earlier this month when they performed Simon and Garfunkel's hit Sounds of Silence before a cheering audience. When we posted the video here we got some of the highest ratings from our readers since we started Jewish Humor Central.

We take that as a vote of confidence and we'll keep an eye on Aryeh and Gil, and bring you some more of their performances, whether we find them on stage or in the streets of Jerusalem, where they seem to have taken up residence on Jaffa Road and in the Mamilla Mall.

Last week the brothers returned to the Rising Star stage to perform the Eagles' Hotel California to an equally enthusiastic audience. Enjoy and Shabbat shalom!

  3. These boychics have a really great and mellow sound! Whether their act is marketable with it's current image, is another story---- nevertheless---a really good and solid sound!
