Great Parade, Chassidic Music Concert and Fair Planned for Lag BaOmer (May 2) in Brooklyn

(We're taking Monday and Tuesday off from posting to celebrate the concluding days of Passover with our family.  We'll be back posting funny stuff on Wednesday.  Chag Sameach to all of our readers!)

If you're in a Brooklyn state of mind and enjoy the musical renditions of chassidic singing stars, then five dollars will buy you a reserved place and a T-shirt at what's being called The Great Parade.

Scheduled to start at 10:15 am on Lag BaOmer, Sunday, May 2 at Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue, the concert will feature Jewish entertainers and singers Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried, Lipa Schmeltzer, and Uncle Moishy.

The concert will be followed by a parade including all the classic favorites including marching bands.    After the concert, the parade route will include a stop at 770 Eastern Parkway, world headquarters of the Lubavitcher chassidic movement.  For more information email info@lagbomer.org or call the parade office at (661) LAG-5770.

Here's a video preview of the event.  Enjoy!
