In Cuba, It's Not Hava Nagila, But Havana Guila

Continuing our review of Hava Nagila performances around the world, we came across the singer called Candela singing the world's most popular Jewish song, with a Latin accent.  It's part of an album called Tel Aviv-Habana.

The CD is filled with familiar Jewish and Israeli songs, all set to a lively Cuban Latin beat.  You can listen to generous samples of all the songs on the album on the Israel Music website.  In addition to Havana Guila, it includes Hallelujah, Al Kol Eleh, Adon Olam, Bashana Haba'ah, Barkhenu, Hevenu Shalom Aleichem, Yerushalayim Shel Zahav, and Tel Aviv-Habana.

So put on your dancing shoes, sing, dance, and enjoy!
