Chef's Classic Kosher Cooking Competition Coming To Melbourne March 15

A special shoutout to our followers in Australia!  We're letting our worldwide readers know about the Chef's Classic Kosher Cooking competition coming to Melbourne in two weeks.

The competition is underway with eight contestants vying for the top prize for making the tastiest and best presented three-course Shabbat lunch in 90 minutes. On February 15 there will be a special event at the Astor Theater in the Melbourne suburb of St. Kilda to benefit the Keren Tov Bikur Cholim and Charity Fund at which the award will be presented and a film screened to document the excitement of the contest.

Keren Tov is a community organization that provides help and assistance to families affected by illness and disease. Either with financial assistance, home visits or volunteers lending a hand, Keren Tov lightens the burden of families who are facing a heavy workload while their loved one is ill. Keren Tov provides all their services with respect and a non-judgmental approach.

If you happen to be in Melbourne on March 15, the Astor Theater is the place to be.  But hurry, tickets are selling fast. If you can't be in Melbourne, at least you can watch the trailer below. Enjoy!
